Tomorrow, Move4Parkinson’s will hold it’s first Spirit of Light Christmas concert. As a choir, we were only established back in September, so it’s a bit surreal to think that a mere 14 weeks later, we will be performing at our very own concert. Of course, none of this would have come about without the determination, hard work and energy of two very special people. They are Mags Mullarney, founder of Move4Parkinson’s and Jennifer Grundulis, our fantastic choir director. Between them, they have guided the choir over the last three months towards our first concert tomorrow. It promises to be a very special day as not only will the Move4Parkinson’s Voices of Hope choir perform but there will also be special guest performances by Jennifer’s other choir, A Glor Gospel Choir, Shay Healy and Kevin Sharkey. The concert kicks off at 5pm in Balally Parish Church, Cedar Road, Balally, Dublin 16 and if you haven’t yet got tickets, they will be available to buy at the door tomorrow. We really hope to see a lot of people there to see the positive benefits that singing has brought not only into the lives of People with Parkinson’s but everyone in our choir. There is an energy and joy in our singing and we hope we can spread the positivity outward to reach more people during these difficult times.
So, please do your best to come to our concert and we look forward with excitement (and a few nerves) to singing joyfully for you.
