There are so many things happening in the world of Parkinson’s and it generates so much hope .Technology is amazing in the 8 years since I was diagnosed information has become more and more accessible .From all the things I have learnt ,tried out and experimented with, I have now got a lifestyle that manages the disease and allows me live a very fulfilled life but it does require a great deal of discipline .
I believe we need Western medicine and Eastern medicine working together and we need an approach that is co operative ,productive .and empowering for the person with Parkinsons .
We have to keep looking for the cure and in the meantime we also have to look after ourselves on that quest for a cure, as we will not be good candidates for participating in research projects if we are not well enough or fit enough .
